St.Gregorios High School

In 1994, Ranjini Krishnaswamy was appointed Principal of St.Gregorios, which was a new school in Chembur. This was a project from start to completion. True, she was an employee of the St.Gregorios High School, but along with the team, she ensured that all the CISCE parameters were adhered to and helped in the building of the school right up till its affiliation. In 2008, the school was upgraded to the ISC level.

This entire project was spearheaded under her leadership. The school has since 2007 been in the top 50 schools of the city.

Billabong High International School, Thane.

Post her retirement from St.Gregorios High School, Chembur, Ranjini Krishnaswamy accepted the post of Director-Principal of the Billabong High International School, Thane. This was a school undergoing a lot of problems and there was a crisis in leadership. Students too were leaving in large numbers. The mandate was to turn around the school. This was achieved in a 2 year time period and while admissions may not have increased twofold, the exodus of students has definitely come down when she stepped down in 2017. The school toon has started figuring in the top 50 schools since 2016.

Dosti Foundation School, Shil-Thane

In 2017, under her stewardship the Dosti Foundation School, Shil-Thane was set up. The school has every facility that a progressive school should have. 4 Science laboratories, a huge library, 2 computer laboratory, a multipurpose court and field for football. In 2019 February the school was affiliated to the CISCE. She remains the Director –Education for the Dosti Foundation School and has a mandate of setting up 2 more schools.

Shardashram Vidyamandir, SSC school

Shardashram Vidyamandir is an old SSC school that hopes to shift to the ICSE Board. While infrastructural changes are getting done, she is helping in capacity building of the teaching staff by way of getting them familiar with the ICSE syllabus and teaching strategies. Her role is that of an Educational Consultant helping the transition of the school.

Along with setting up and turning around schools, she conducts Training sessions for schools all over the country. Whether it is Leadership Strategies or Teaching of English for Staff or any topic of educational value she is ready and willing to travel to share her expertise. Children too have benefitted from her years of experience and she also does sessions for them –mainly in English, Creative Writing, Poetry Writing, and Environmental Education.

Currently, she is working on a series of books on English Comprehension.
